The Path of Life Garden will be hosting the inaugural One Drum Festival on July 16th, 2011. This full day celebration aims to bring together drummers of all abilities and levels of
interest. The event will feature workshops with professional artists, an evening concert, and community drum circles.
Drumming is one our oldest musical traditions and rhythm is found throughout all aspects of our lives. Highlighting this deep history, the One Drum Festival will provide participants the opportunity to learn about world drumming traditions from Brazil, Japan and the Middle East. In addition, there will be drum circle facilitators throughout the day, and Vermont’s largest drum circle will be held at night after the concert. There will be food and craft vendors so come on out for a family day in
